Preschool students showcase God's love in their Missionsfest entitled, "The Colors of History". The programme consisted of a morning and afternoon performance, each rendered by the AM and PM classes respectively. The presentation was divided into the 6 colours displayed in the wordless book: gold, black, red, white, green, and blue with each colour having its own set of performances.
The show opened with the colour gold representing heaven as a place of happiness (Heaven in Real, Heaven is a Wonderful Place, Creation). This was followed by black which represented the sin of humanity causing us to lose our entry to heaven (The Fall and Brokeness Aside). The next colour, red, symbolises Christ's payment for our sins (We are the Reason and At the Cross) which results in the colour white, showing our newfound purity in Christ which allows us to be in God's presence once more (Nothing But the Blood and Happy Day).
Having been made new, we are now called to grow, represented by the colour green (Power in the Blood, Grow Up, and Tell the World of His Love) and to bless others along the way, represented by the colour blue (Tell His Story).
Aside from the practising for their performances, the Preschool students have also been collecting donations throughout the month to give to the ministry. These donations were formally turned over to the Far East Broadcasting Company at the programme's conclusion.
"Missionsfest is not only about showcasing our talents," said Mrs. Mildred Jaralba, Preschool principal, "Missionsfest is our opportunity to showcase God's love to the people around us."
